 Rider Education Levels Programs

LEVEL I - COMMITMENT FOR SAFETY

REQUIREMENT
• Be a current GWRRA member
• Rider and/or the Co-Rider commit to practice and encourage safe motorcycle operation whenever they operate their motorcycle.
• No fee

LEVEL II - SAFETY BY EDUCATION

REQUIREMENT
• Be a current GWRRA member
• Be enrolled in Level I of the Rider Education Levels Program
• Have 5,000 safe miles
• Have a current motorcycle license endorsement
• Have completed an approved Rider and/or Co-Rider course within the past three years.
• NO FEE

LEVEL III - SAFETY BY PREPAREDNESS

REQUIREMENT
• Be a current GWRRA member
• Be enrolled in Level II of the Rider Education Levels Program
• Maintain current First Aid or CPR certifications
• Carry a First Aid kit on the motorcycle
• NO FEE

LEVEL IV - SAFETY BY ENHANCED COMMITMENT AND PREPAREDNESS

LEVEL IV is the most prestigious level within the Rider Education Levels Program and is referred to as Master Tour Rider/Co-Rider. It represents the highest level of commitment by the Rider and/or Co-Rider toward safe riding and preparedness.

MEDIC FIRST AID

The Mississippi District now has four coordinators for the distribution of Medic First Aid materials and instructors.

In the North is Ottis Anderson with chapter "J"

In the West is David Thames with chapter "E"

Buddy Shirley from Meridian

Chapters needing CPR and First Aid classes are asked to contact the coordinator nearest you.
